Cookie policy

The short version

This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tracking of any kind, and nothing is written to your browser's local or session storage. You are not being measured here.

Because of that, there is no cookie banner to dismiss and no consent to manage — there is nothing to consent to.

The two exceptions, and when they happen

Videos

Some pages show a preview image of a YouTube video. That preview is just an image and sets nothing. Only if you click play does the video itself load, from youtube-nocookie.com — YouTube's reduced-tracking domain. At that point YouTube may set its own cookies, governed by Google's privacy policy. If you never press play, this never happens.

Payment

When you book a workshop, you are redirected to NETOPIA Payments to enter your card details. NETOPIA sets cookies that are strictly necessary to carry out the transaction and to keep it secure. Those cookies are set on NETOPIA's own domain, under their policy, and only once you reach their page.

What we use instead of tracking

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. These are ordinary server logs, not cookies, and they are not used to build a profile of you.

Controlling cookies anyway

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings. Since this site sets none, blocking them will not affect anything here — though blocking them entirely may prevent a card payment from completing on NETOPIA's page.
